FROM FIRST DIRECTIONS TO FINAL GOODBYE

A guide that moves
with the stay.

HolidayHomeOS is designed around a simple idea: the most useful information changes as guests settle in. The welcome should change with it.

01

Start with the property and the people

The intended setup begins with property essentials: a clear name, local timezone, arrival and departure details, directions and useful house information. Owners can work directly, or with an optional property manager. The guest preview lets a host review the welcome before sharing it.

Each adult is intended to receive an individual guest link, rather than relying on one person to relay every detail. A personal name makes the welcome warmer, while individual progress means one adult’s acknowledgement does not dismiss another’s reminder. The public demo uses sample links; secure invitations and delivery are still being developed.

02

Give arrival its own space

First moments have their own questions. Directions, parking, Wi-Fi and the house essentials should be easy to reach. Guests can choose a supported maps app, with that preference remembered on their device. A welcome pack appears only when enabled and its contents have been confirmed as physically placed for the booking.

Guests explicitly mark themselves arrived or connected, or acknowledge the welcome pack. Opening a page is not proof of arrival, and copying Wi-Fi information is not proof of a connection. Acknowledged prompts disappear from that guest’s daily view; the property guide remains available when they want to look again.

03

Make room for the holiday

The assistant considers the phase of the stay and the property’s local time. Arrival prompts should not keep returning through later days. A first evening can make room for a relaxed dinner idea; a later day can put nearby places and the guide closer to hand.

Local recommendations give guests a starting point, supported by source links and owner-maintained information. Guests should check current opening hours and availability with those sources. A guest-host conversation is part of the intended experience, but messages saved in the current preview stay on the device and are not delivered.

04

Finish gently, prepare thoughtfully

Before departure, a small look ahead helps avoid a rushed final morning. Checkout guidance, a practical checklist and a warm goodbye give the stay a considered finish. Feedback has a place, and every guest receives the same independent review opportunity regardless of their rating.

Behind the scenes, the platform vision connects cleaning checks and operational issues to readiness. Required checks must be complete and blocking issues resolved. Staff issues stay separate from guest conversations. Authenticated team access, shared operations and connected guest services are still in development; explore the preview to see the product direction.
