On a compatible Android TV or Android-based Fire TV device, open Downloader and enter 4395660. Follow the footer’s TV setup link, then download and install HolidayHomeOS.

You need authorised access to that property in your account before pairing. Installing the APK alone does not create an account or connect a property. Open your property workspace or explore the owner tools first.

The existing code opens the TV overview. Follow TV setup for existing account holders in its footer to reach this page, then choose Download for Android TV, then follow your TV’s installation prompts. If asked, allow Downloader to install the app in your TV settings.

Use the HolidayHomeOS download on this page. Check that the browser is on www.holidayhomeos.app before downloading. The short code is a convenience link, not proof that another download is trusted.
Android-based Fire TV
- Open Settings → My Fire TV (or Device) → Developer Options. If hidden, Amazon documents selecting the device name under About seven times to reveal the menu on some versions.
- Choose Install unknown apps and allow Downloader only, where your version offers per-app permission. Return to Downloader and open the HolidayHomeOS APK to install.
- After installation, switch Downloader’s install permission off again. Repeat the narrow permission step when installing a later update.
Older Fire OS versions may show a broad “Apps from Unknown Sources” switch instead. If only that broad setting is offered, check your model’s official guidance before proceeding; this guide does not ask you to enable a global unknown-source setting.
Leave ADB Debugging and USB Debugging off. They are separate developer connection tools and are not needed for this Downloader flow.

Google TV / Android TV
Start the APK installation in Downloader. If Android opens a permission screen, allow that app as the installation source, then return and confirm Install. On versions that expose it in Settings, look under Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps and choose Downloader. Manufacturer menu names and restrictions vary; use your exact device’s help if the option is absent.
Android’s per-source permission is separate from USB or network debugging. Leave debugging off and keep device protections enabled. Revoke Downloader’s installation permission after installing. If your device blocks installation, stop and check the manufacturer’s supported options rather than disabling protections.

Sign in to your HolidayHomeOS account and match the code shown on your TV.
Choose your property
Select a property you manage. Its published guide opens on the TV automatically.
Your guide, on the big screen
Browse the house guide, local restaurants, bars, groceries, activities and FAQs with your TV remote. Scan a venue’s QR code for its website or directions. Wi-Fi and departure instructions are included when published by your host.
Property content refreshes automatically after the host publishes it. App updates are needed only when the TV interface itself changes. A personal welcome and stay dates appear during the stay window configured by your host. The home screen follows arrival, middle-of-stay and checkout day in the property’s time zone. Departure becomes prominent on checkout day and remains available in the house guide.
Your guide on your phone
During an active stay, open House guide → Open on your phone on the TV. Scan the QR code with your phone camera to open the booking’s shared property guide. This read-only guide includes the house information and local recommendations. Personal guest invitations and lead-guest controls remain separate.
Compatibility & requirements
A compatible streaming stick can bring the app to an existing TV with an HDMI input. You will also need suitable power, Wi-Fi and the stick’s remote. Check the exact model and software before buying.
Current APK: HolidayHomeOS TV 0.6.0. Installation alone does not guarantee the app will work well on every device. Check your exact model.

Official Amazon model / OS list. For other Android TV or Google TV models, check the installed Android version and manufacturer’s installation support, then test the app on the exact device.
App requirements & platform details
- Minimum: Android 8.0 / API 26. The APK targets API 35 and uses a landscape TV interface, Internet access and a TV remote with directional buttons, select/OK and Back. A touchscreen is not required.
- Processor / ABI: the APK contains Java bytecode and no bundled native ABI libraries. It is not restricted to an ARM-only native build, but that does not establish compatibility on every processor or operating system.
- WebView: the TV interface uses native Android views, not an embedded WebView. There is no app-specific TV WebView minimum in this build. Phone linking requires a current browser, a camera able to open the QR link, an account and authorised property access.
- Owner-reported physical use: Ben reports successful operation on a Fire TV Stick and Google TV. Exact models and OS versions were not recorded; this is not a device-family certification.
- Emulator checked: Android TV API 34 ARM64, including remote navigation and the rendered guide. This is emulator evidence, not a substitute for testing a physical TV.
- Other target devices: Android TV smart TVs, Google TV devices and Android-based Fire TV devices meeting the requirements are intended targets. Other Android TV boxes and smart TVs still need model-specific installation, remote, display, connection and sustained-operation checks.
- Unverified or unsupported: no ChromeOS or arbitrary Android-box verification. This APK is not a native Samsung Tizen, LG webOS or Apple TV/tvOS app; Fire TV devices with a non-Android OS are not supported by this app. Amazon lists Vega OS models, including Fire TV Stick 4K Select, separately from Android-based Fire OS models. No Play Store or Amazon Appstore availability is claimed.
Before relying on a device for guests, verify installation, cold launch, remote navigation, phone linking, guide refresh and recovery after a restart on that exact hardware.
